Key to this model is sitting around waiting, waiting for ‘shit to hit the fan’ (or SHTF, as they like to call it), spending their time training and buying shit under the guise of ‘increasing their capabilities,’ so that when ‘the time comes,’ they’ll be ready. As the author of An Anarchist Anti-Gun Manifesto puts it, ‘Still, they are convinced of their own radicality because they armed themselves, they have primed themselves to defend the marginalized (potentially including themselves), the most radical thing one can do.’ And as the author continues, ‘But the genocide isn’t coming, it’s here.’”
